For Challis Hex Drive Bushings; will not fit other bushings. This excellent tool will limit the applied torque to approximately 27 in-lbs. This is the torque recommended for installing Hex Drive Bushings in a steel frame. Do not use to install bushings in aluminum or titanium frames. For these materials we suggest 18 in-lbs of torque.

Purchased this tool to take the guess work out of tightening the bushings. This tool is very well made and worked great.

I did not order this with my first order due to the cost. I did on my second order and it works great, well worth the cost and should have ordered it the first time. This tool takes out all the guess work in applying the appropriate amount of pressure when installing the bushings. I actually found that I may have been using less than the appropriate amount due to worrying about over tightening.

Great tool, worth the price.

I was hesitant to buy an expensive tool like this for such a small job, however with several 1911's I figured I would. Driver worked perfectly and fit the hex bushings as described. Great tool if you have a bit of extra money for it.

I just ordered, received, and used your new torque driver. Sweet. Worked just as advertised. No more guessing on the tightening of grip bushings. Not cheap exactly but worth every penny. Highly recommended!
