    Pros:
    Cons:
These screws completely blow away the traditional flat head/slotted head type screws.
No hassles with messing up the screw head or damaging your pistol when screwdriver slips out.
In addition, they really dress up a set of grips and add a modern appeal.

If y'all need some good stout screws, these are a good way to go.

Not that I'll ever lose them, but it's always nice to have spares. Slots are for losers - hex and torx are the way to go.

    Grip Socket Screws . . .

These were the primary reason I went to Challis . . . To change out my conventional slotted screw head grip screws for the socket variety. I just never cared for conventional screws on a firearm . . . Too easy to slip! Again, simply low cost insurance! The best part is their extensive array of head designs, from the very simple to fancier designs, if that is your pleasure. The fancier ones add the so-called finishing touch to your pistol.

    Pros:
    Cons:
Many grip screws for 1911s are very poorly made and can shear off if too much torque is applied or they are struck from an angle in a fall. These will not.

    Only grip screws I'll use
