these worked great!! I had one stripped in the alloy frame threaded right in once I re-tapped with the oversize tap.

These oversized bushings are perfect to correct a stripped frame. Using their alignment tool and tap it was really quick and easy.

This are the best 1911 grip screw bushing I have used. I plan on using them from now on.

The bushings are excellent quality. I didn't catch the recommended minimum grip thickness when I ordered them. Pay attention to that, as the grips I intended to use them with were too thin. Customer service is excellent. Brian made a great effort to remedy that, but I decided to keep them for a future project. No complaints. I would definitely by other products from Chalis.
