much more convenient than using thread lock and less messy as well. highly recommend with all types of 1911 models

These are going on all of my pistols. I tapped and installed new bushing and grip screws. The O-Rings should be standard on every pistol. They allow for a more secure grip and keep the screws from backing out or coming loose.

Had a set of grips that when the screws were tightened down, would not completely tighten the grips down. Grips a little loose, still. Used some metal shims between the screws and grips, which tightened down the grips, but left the screws a little above “flush” on the grips. Rather than filing down the screws, I decided to try Brian’s o-rings. Worked PERFECTLY!! Grips are tight, screws are flush. Highly recommended!

These little guys do a great job of keeping your grip screws from loosening. They'll even work with standard bushings, but won't keep stock bushings from loosening up, so you may as well go First Class and put a set of Hex Bushings, Bushing O-Rings and Grip Screw O-Rings on your 1911. Cost is minimal, performance is maximal!

Had to replace a runaway O-ring for my Kimber Micro .380 grips. They all needed replaced anyhow, they were getting worn out a bit. These are the O-rings you need if the same happens to you. Perfect fit. Thank You Challis Grips for having exactly what I needed.
