Great product, no more screw driver nicks.

I'll take a socket/driver over a screwdriver any day of the week. A breeze to install, old eyes not withstanding.

Easy to use non-slipping, and like the flat head bushing does not scratch my frame when it slipped off the bushing of my 1911 when putting on bushings.I think all bushings should be like this thank you.

I began converting all of my .45's to complete Challis bushings, o-rings and screws several years ago. I also quickly learned to invest in both removal tools for regular and short bushings. Soome might consider the tools, and even the bushing products pricey but I don't see it that way.



It only takes one slip trying to extract a bushing and you've scratched the frame or maybe even cut yourself. The removal tools are superb! You can remove or install so very easily. They saved me countless hours as i have an extensive collection of .45's.



The bushings and associated o-rings and screws are every bit as good and they also save lots of time. Using Brian's bushing products keeps the screws tight. They won't loosen under use. Typically, when I would go to the range, I would spend more time to re-tighten the grip screws on every gun. You won't have to do that with Challis bushings, o-rings and screws. Assuming you're careful and using the correct screwdriver, you would normally spend 2 or 3 minutes per gun - no more!



You just cannot go wrong if you want to save time, money and enjoy all of the benefits Challis provides you. Simply put, they are the very best on the market!

Since using the hex drive bushings and o- rings, I have never had to tighten the grip screws for over a year now. When I broke out an older gun, just had to give it the same treatment.
