I bought these to replace the standard bushings in my Colt lightweight commander after removing the grips the bushings backed out with the grip screw and the screw and the bushing remained attached. I ruined the threads on the two top bushings trying to remove them from the screw. The Challis bushing system was easy to install with their 7/32 driver even in an aluminum frame. I just started them by hand and finished with their 7/32 driver. The grips feel more solid with these bushings. I highly recommend these bushings They are very high quality,very easy to install and reasonably priced.
These are the best kind of bushings out there, very easy to install. This is my second set from Challis, my 1911s are complete with them.
