Awesome. Easy install. Love the ease of the 7/32 driver.
These are by far the best grip bushings made as far as I'm concerned A++++++
These are by far the best and most user friendly grip bushing I have found on the market. One thing I do suggest during the grip bushing swap is to run a tap through the threads to ensure old loctite and any other foreign material is removed. Bushings are soft and can be easily damaged. Once the tap has been ran through, I use a little blue thread locker, then set my fat wrench to the correct torque and boom. Done. These, combined with the O-rings make for an ideal grip installation. Can't recommend it enough.
Hex heads are far superior traditional screw slots. I don't know why all 1911s don't use these. Stronger, easier to install and remove, less risk of damage.
I found Challis when I discovered a stripped frame. Bought all the repair stuff, and some standard ones. I like them so much that I will be getting more for my others and replace when I take grips off.
