Switching all of my 1911 grip screw bushings over to these. Also bought the tools for these as well. All of this just makes life easier.

The hex shaped body makes perfect sense for this application. Much more so than the slotted variety, which are easy to install but difficult to remove. I torqued them to the specified in/lb. and didn't use thread locker, so we'll see if they eventually work loose, but I suspect not. Fit to slim thickness grips is perfect.

These are genius! Would be nice if they were standard bushings for 1911's across the board. I have smaller hands and always have to swap standard stocks for slimmer ones and factory bushings ALWAYS strip, NO LONGER with Challis bushings!!

To me, these are the best grip screw bushings available today. I buy and install them on all my 1911s.

Bought a set of these for my DW Valor for a new set of VZ grips. Love the design and how well the grips stay put
