I used these bushings to replace bushings in a Colt 1911 .22 pistol. The stock bushings are not the standard 1911 size, so they won't accept standard thread 1911 screws. The oversize bushings from Challis solve this problem and you can use cool looking grip screws from Challis! Follow the directions and use the special tap and tap guide from Challis. Easy and quick.
