I am very pleased with these bushings. The hex head is a major improvement over the original slotted ones. Highly recommend.

I purchased these to replace my 1911's grip bushings. I also purchased some of the rubber O rings. They're nice bushings and I really like the O rings because they hold the bushings in place without the need for Locktite.

This new bushing design is an absolute pleasure to work with. The fit and finish of these parts is first class in every regard. The hex design, along with the bushing O-ring retention groove, is simply outstanding.



I installed the bushings to 27 inch-pounds, and used both types of O-rings on all grip types, which in my case includes elephant and mammoth ivory, stag, wood and G10.

This is the second set I have purchased. If you have loose grips, you need these. If you disassemble your 1911 for deep cleaning a lot, you need these. They give you the ability to add an o-ring between the grip and the frame to take up any slop and keeps the grips tight. The hex head design is brilliant and way more durable than stock slotted bushings.

This is an excellent product. I have used these bushings on a number of 1911 Pistols and have never been disappointed. Easy to install and easy to remove. I try to keep an extra set on hand for any new acquisition.
