After wasting money on a set of Smith & Alexander slim bushing that did not hold i went with Challis and the extra cost was worth every penny. they are holding up and look great. The hex head bushing is much metter thatn the slotted style... no comparison.

I’m very impressed with the high quality and innovative design of the Challis hex drive bushings. They are a vast improvement over the standard slotted bushings. They are easy to install and remove and can be reused a number of times.

I purchased these for an install of slim G10 grips on two 1911's. They're easy to install, and the grips fit snugly on them

One of the best upgrades for 1911s I've seen. These make it really easy to deal with changing grips and keeping them tight. I'll be changing all of my pistols to these.
