Keeps grip screws snug. Screws are much easier to remove than if you had used Loctite. I use these and the bushing o-rings on all my 1911's.

Second purchase of these O-Rings. Had a set of grips where the one side just didn't seem to get tight, so by using these O-Rings that forced a tighter fit from the grip to the frame. Also that I can tightened down the grip screws and not be concerned that I have overtightened and having trouble in the future when I may want to remove the grips.

Challis O Rings are a great addition to the bushings and grip screws Challis markets. I have not experienced loose grips or screws, and the bushings are easy to install with the tools Challis offers.

Excellent product at an eminently reasonable price. Much thinner than the previous #60 plumbing O-rings that I'd used-the #60s required me to "bagel" them, cutting them in half to preclude grip screws from unduly protruding.



The Challis O-ring is far superior, and much appreciated. Installed on my Colt Series 70 (among other pistols), I shot an IDPA match with no grip screw backing out or loosening.
