I purchased these for the first time. They make removal and reattachment of grip screws very easy. And, they hold the screws more securely. No more locktite.

I'm using the grip screw Orings on all of my 1911's. No issue with grips shooting loose now. Even the thin grips on my Les Baer TRS stay tight after a 300+ round outing.

Far superior to #60 o-rings as they are made specifically for this purpose and do not make your grip screws stand proud.

I discovered Challis Grips website during the summer quite by accident. Previously I was using #60 O-Rings purchased from the plumbing department at my local hardware store. The results were not entirely satisfactory. Even thought the inside and outside diameter is correct, I find that #60 O-Rings are too thick. Well, not so with Challis Grip Screw O-rings. They are thinner. They are just perfect! I have used them on one of my Colt 1911 pistols with G10 grips and have shot several hundred rounds with the Challis Grip Screw O-Rings. The grip screws stay perfectly snug. Thank you Challis for a great product that does what is supposed to do!!
