High quality, made like fe easy, a tool every 1911 owner should have, fast shipment and hreatest product

I haven't had the opportunity yet to use either of the tools. I purchased them both after having removed a set of full-size from a SA Ultra with a pair of needle-nose vise grips. Needless to say the removed bushings are no longer useable. I lucked out and did not strip the existing threads or impart any scratches to the frame. The Challis extractor would have made the much easier and much less stressful.

This is an amazing product and should be in everyone's tool box that works on a 1911. I had purchased a used 1911 and after getting it home for a complete take down I noticed the grip screw bushings looked like they were attacked with a screwdriver and pliers. Was thinking this would need to go to a smith with a mill to be drilled out an tapped. I bought this tool thinking this will save money if it works and if not I will still have a tool. A little file work on what remained of the bushings, and this it the cool part that I did not read in the description, there is a screw in the tool to tighten the tool to the bushing. Every one of those damaged bushing came out smoothly and in one piece. Replaced with new bushings and installed some new scales. I can't say enough how much this tool saved me money. Well worth having.
