And let me tell you. This is the last review you need to read. Was told it was going to need a gunsmith to weld a grip screw in it to pull the bushings out. This tool did it like my bushings weren’t completely trashed which they were... I was truly amazed best specialty tool I’ve ever bought. Just buy this and never worry again. Ps my bushings were in a brand new never molested colt 1991a1. And I used a screw driver that fit the best. And stood no chance but this tool took them out like they should of. Ps buy new bushings from these guys, the 0 rings for the bushings and the o rings for the grip screws. Huge game changer.

I recently bought both the slim bushing extractor and the standard bushing extractor from Challis. These bushing extractors are definitely the real deal. As advertised, these things work so well. Replaced my first set of standard bushings on my Baer. I heard that the extractor would make short work of the red Loctited bushings and, sure enough, it did! It took only a small amount of force and it instantly broke loose. Took about 4 minutes and all factory bushings were out with no damage. Made sure that the threads for the bushings were clean and popped in a set of Challis' hex bushings in less time than it took to take the old ones out. Every gun owner needs this, trust me!

After I boogered up one of my bushings multiple Google search results and YouTube videos pointed me in the direction of this bushing extractor tool. Talk about a lifesaver! The bushing extractor tool not only allowed me to remove the damaged bushing by following the step-by-step instructions it also made for easy removal of the remaining three bushings.
