This tool is the ticket to remove grip bushings from 1911 frames. My bushings were loctited in and still came out with extremely little effort!!! Whole system works slicker than vaseline on glass.

This tool allows the user to break grip bushings loose even when thread locker has been applied. The tool transfers force so efficiently that you don't need to apply heat and there is no worry of the blade slipping from the slot. Easy to use and a definite must for anyone doing more than the occasional frame work

The bushings in my Desert Eagle 1911 U were so tight there was no other way to remove them. I don't understand why (or how) they tighten them so robustly! They were way tighter than 27 inch pounds!

This tool will remove a mangled grip screw bushing on a 1911 with ease. I’ll never try removing a grip screw bushing without this tool ever again.

Have bushings from 4 different manufacturers and wrench is about 002 oversized for screw slot. Would have to use a screw file on bushings prior to attempt to remove them.
