Another quality product from Challis. This tool worked like a champ!

I purchased both of these grip screw bushing removal tools the standard and the slim for the shorter bushings and all I can say is, Git ya one or both. I have really messed up a lot of bushings in my life by using a simple screwdriver and the Challisgrips bushing tool makes the removal of the grip screw bushings a simple task and the big plus is that your bushing go unmarried. Like I said before, GIT YA ONE!!!

Talk about easy. It took probably 10 seconds to remove each grip bushing that came with my Kimber Custom II. This tool makes it so easy to uninstall without any fuss. Great job Brian!

This amazing and simple tool removed 4 staked bushings in an older Government 1911. I'm far from being a gunsmith so I was a bit nervous. One of them needed a little pulling as I was turning so the threads engaged, but it worked like a charm. The others were easy as cake. Thank you for saving me a lot of money!

If you work on 1911 single stack pistols , you NEED!!! this tool. I have been building 1911's for 30 years and have had some real challenges removing stubborn grip screw bushings I recently encountered a set that defied all attempts at removal. While searching the i-net for a solution, I found the Challis site. I immediately ordered both sizes. Upon receiving the tools, I put them to work. BINGO! Old staked in bushings out, new slim bushings in.
