Changed bushings on my new Kimber Custom ll and ordered the Challis Bushing remover even though the Kimber factory suggested that I take it to a gunsmith, I decided to at least attempt carefully myself first. It was very easy to use and I had the bushings changed within 5 minutes. No effort and no heat needed. Extraordinary product. Would have given it 10 stars. More than worth the $28 I paid for it.

Awesome product and quick shipping

Best Grip Screw Bushing removal Tool

Pros:

This tool made removing the OEM Grip Screw Bushings a piece of cake. I heated up each bushing with a soldering iron to be on the safe side just in case a type of thread locker was used. As it turn out the firearm manufacturer did use one. This tool did not "bugger" up the four bushings at all.

Bushing Extracting tool

Pros:
Cons:
The lugs that go into the slot of the bushing did not go deep enough in the slot to get a full grip on the bushing , i was unable to remove one of the bushings as the tool kept slipping off, but was able to continue to use that bushing as the threads were ok . It seemed the tool was not going down far enough on the bushing to get a full grip. But the tool is a great design.
