Purchased this tool to remove the super short/slim bushings from an EMP4. Made it a piece of cake!

Fellow 1911 lovers, get one and replace all your bushings with Challis bushings. This tool got Loctited bushings out of my Colt oh so easy. No heating the bushings to release the Loctite, they just came out no problem.

Bought the slim bushing removal tool to remove the bushings on my Dan Wesson Valor. This tool made it an easy job accomplished in minutes. Also kept the bushings from being damaged for future reinstall.

Only negative, make SURE you move the leverage bar back before you take out the top left side bushing. If not you can mark up your safety and remove material. I wasn't paying close enough attention to the height and had this happen to me.

I had the soldering iron ready but didn't even need it. This tool removed the bushings with no problem!

Removed some very stubborn bushings from two steel framed 1911's. Easy to use. Most 1911 makers use thread lock, but this tool can overcome that, removing the bushings intact and with frame threads unharmed.
