Easy to install and remove. Loctite is not necessary. Use 7/32" nut driver or socket. If using a torque driver, 18 in-lbs is recommended for both steel and aluminum frames. These full size bushings will work with grips not less than 0.245" thick....

Installed the complete system of bushings, O-rings, and grip screws on my Dan Wesson 1911.

Everything fit perfectly, the O-rings on the bushings keep the grips from moving around on the frame,,so that the grip screws do not have to take any lateral load, and the O-rings for the grip screws prevent the screws from becoming loose.

All in all, a superior system for any type of grips for the 1911.

Your bushing system was just what I needed to attach the C.T. master series laser grips to my Sig Ultra 1911. Going from slim to standard per our conversation was just the ticket!! Have already put 500 rounds downrange without worrying about a grip screw back out. Your bushing and washer system does the job. Your bushing removal tool also made the change effortless! Thank Brian.

One of my original bushings was stripped out when I bought the 1911 and it broke when I I tried to take it out. I was recommended Chllisgrips.com and after receiving the hex drive bushings and putting them in, huge thumbs up I would recommend them to anyone.
