These are better screws than originals in springfield fron the 1980's! Finish excellent, make sure to use hollow ground screw driver. Bought slim bushings and o rings for bushings and grip screws. Excellent system, high quality parts. Great tools as well. T bar bushing removal tool is awesome!

What can you say about a grip screw? Well, if it's a Challis grip screw, you can say that it;



-Nicely finished in blue

-Perfect size

-Durable

-Clean, sharp threads



If Brian ever adds some slotted matte/dull blue and slotted stainless grips screws, I'll be purchasing a few packs of those too.

Anything I purchase from Challis I know will be a quality product. My most recent order was just o rings and grip screws but their o rings fit the best and the grip screws are great quality.

These give a classic look and allow compatibility with a straight-bladed screwdriver if the grips need to be removed. They had a full and flawless finish and the threads were cut properly. There was no trouble getting them fitted into the grip bushings, and they did not display any deformation or marring when torqued to specification. I used them with Challis O-rings to help ensure screw retention, as recommended by some sources.
