I've done oversize bushings for years but this new tap that cuts the hole to size beats the heck out of drilling as a separate step in the process.

I purchased an aluminum frame 1911 commander, at the first cleaning one of the grip screw bushings stripped out of the frame. i sent it back to the manufacturer for repair. after receiving it back, at the next cleaning same bushing stripped out. it looked like they had tried to epoxy it back to the frame. I purchased the Callis grips oversized tap, the guide, and a set of bushings. I highly recommend purchasing the guide block. I followed the directions and it worked perfectly.
